Whole Wheat Banana Oatmeal Greek Yogurt Waffles
I love the mornings. Â Waking up to a fresh start full of possibilities and a big pot of coffee. Â
Making my kids a delicious breakfast each morning is important to me. Â It is a great way to start their day as well. Â Recently when I received a case of the new Chobani Champions Greek yogurt I thought the Vanilla Chocolate Chunk flavor would be delicious in waffles. Â These have quickly become a new favorite with the kids and I have made these several times.
These tasty waffles are light and fluffy. Â I love the Vanilla Chocolate Chunk Greek Yogurt in these. Â The creamy vanilla greek yogurt with swirled with bits of chocolate chunks adds another delicious element to these already delicious waffles. Â Top with fresh bananas slices and a splash of pure maple syrup and a fabulous breakfast is ready to serve. Â

Hurry up weekend so I can make these delicious treats! Seriously, my mouth is watering!
Breakfast is definitely important. And these sound perfect. Love the Greek yogurt twist!
Vanilla chocolate chunk yogurt!? Chobani comes up with the best flavors! And you turned it into some great looking waffles.
I really need to break out my waffle iron! These look fabulous!
this recipe is by far the BEST thing i’ve seen in days! I am SO SO SO excited to make these. I don’t have a waffle maker, but I do love pancakes. I’m thinking I’ll half the recipe… any idea how many pancakes it will yield?
I’m not really a morning person 😉 but i love breakfast foods hehe ~ Especially waffles, pancakes and muffins oh and eggs too hahaha i seriously just LOVE breakfast food!
These are perfect for me! Banana waffles yummy! 😀 Thanks for sharing!
I love the sound of the yogurt in these waffles! What a great breakfast treat.
These are PERFECT!! Vanilla chocolate chunk yogurt??? Holy moly!!!
We have a double waffle maker and make waffles all the time…just on the weekend though. Never thought of putting yogurt in the mix though. Your kids are lucky!
Hi Katie- this would make about 8 average size pancakes if you make the full batch. I would only use 1 large egg if you are making these as pancakes. Enjoy! 🙂
Those waffles look delicious. I love that you’ve used whole wheat flour too, so I don’t need to feel so guilty about indulging.
Could I use buckwheat flour or spelt flour? These look soo yummy!
Hi Hannah, I know I responded to you on Twitter just wanted to let you know I got your question on the blog too. Let me know how these turn out for you using buckwheat flour. Enjoy! 🙂
I made this with unsweetened Greek yogurt and they were AMAZING!! Thank you for the recipe. They will be made often here!
Hi Lisa! I’m so happy to hear you enjoyed these waffles! 🙂
These waffles are amazing and so easy and fast to make! I have been craving waffles and wanted to find a healthy version that I could freeze for a quick breakfast. I just made them today with a few changes…
**I used only 1 cup white WW flour, 1/2 cup oat flour (ground GF old fashioned oats), and 1/3 cup of the oats, 2 T honey for the sugar, a little extra cinnamon, 1 cup of unsweetened coconut milk for the milk, 7 oz plain organic non-fat Greek yogurt, 3 T coconut oil instead of butter, and I added 1/2 t vanilla extract. It made 5 large waffles. I topped mine with creamy organic peanut butter, sliced banana and a drizzle of maple syrup. Absolutely delicious! And secretly healthy! This will definitely be my go-to waffle recipe.
Hi Virginia, So glad you enjoyed these delicious waffles and love your changes! Thanks for letting me know!
