Cookie Butter.

I have no control when there is a jar of Cookie Butter in front of me.

None.

Give me a spoon, and I’ll dive right in.  A spoonful here, a spoonful there, and before I know it the jar is gone.

If you have never had Cookie Butter before be warned, it is addicting.  It’s sweet and creamy like Peanut Butter and Nutella.  Spread it on toast, use it in a variety of recipes or just eat with a spoon.

Making your own Cookie Butter is easier than you think.  This Chocolate Cookie Butter only uses 3 ingredients.  Yes, 3!   You just need a few packages of Walkers Quadruple Chocolate Chunk Biscuits, a few spoonfuls of water and/or coffee and vanilla extract.  That’s it.

When using Walkers made with the highest quality ingredients in their cookies, shortbread and biscuits, you are in for a delicious treat.  These luxury biscuits are baked in a secluded village in the heart of the Scottish Highlands, using the same recipes that has been handed down for generations.  Walkers has a wide selection of shortbread and cookies ~ the perfect treat to enjoy with your afternoon tea or coffee.

The Quadruple Chocolate Chunk Biscuits are incredible!  If you can restrain yourself from eating the package of cookies, you can enjoy using them in this creamy Chocolate Cookie Butter.  You simply break the biscuits in half and place them in your food processor.  Blend on high until finely ground.  As you continue to blend, the natural butters will start creating a creamy texture.  Add in a splash of vanilla extract, for added flavor, and then water and or cooled coffee a spoonful at a time until creamy.  Don’t go brewing a pot of coffee just to make this.  But if you have a tablespoon or two left from the morning it really intensifies the flavor.  If you don’t want to use coffee or don’t have any, no worries.  A few tablespoons of water will do.  I usually use a combination of both alternating between water and coffee.

After a few minutes in the food processor, you will have rich and creamy Chocolate Cookie Butter.  Use a dip with bananas, strawberries, pretzels or just grab a spoon!
