It’s been awhile since I made donuts but when I came up with this idea for Baked Apple Cider Donuts I knew it was time to dust my donut pans off.

One of the many things I love about this time of year is apple cider. We have a great cider mill that I love to get our apple cider from. We have already gone through gallons of cider just in a few short weeks. Nothing tastes more like fall than apple cider. It’s crisp, refreshing and delicious!

Since I love apple ciders and donuts in the fall I couldn’t resist combining the two and creating these Baked Apple Cider Donuts! These donuts are amazing! If you love apple cider then you are absolutely going to love these donuts. These cake like donuts are bursting with apple cider and are dunked in the most scrumptious apple cider glaze that you may just want to eat with a spoon. You definitely don’t want to skip the glaze either! It’s really the icing so to speak on the cake or in this case the icing on the donut. Seriously once you try them you’ll see why. And in case your wondering how I got the white glaze on top I just whisked up a little confectioners sugar and milk and drizzled it on top after the apple cider glaze was dry. Super easy and completely optional or even add some sprinkles! Your choice!

So now that I’m on a donut kick I’m working on another fall donut recipe that I can’t wait to share. Make sure you’re following me on Instagram and I’ll be giving you a sneak peak of it on my latest obsession Instagram stories. 1. Hi Wendy! There is a the apple cider glaze and then I drizzled it with just a simple glaze of confectioners sugar and milk to make them look pretty. I did mention it briefly in the post but didn’t include the white glaze in the post, so sorry for the confusion! 🙂
