I love a good, juicy burger from time to time. And nothing beats firing up the outside grill for the first time after a long winter.
The smell of burgers grilling outside reminds me of summer picnics and barbecues and hanging out poolside with a little Jimmy Buffet playing in the background. Can you tell I am a bit eager for summer to come?
These burgers have become a hit here. When Mr. Mother Thyme says you have to make these again, I know I created something good especially coming from a man that likes a good burger.
The best part; these are made with ground turkey, but shhh they’ll never know. These are juicy just like a good burger should be and filled with crumbled feta, freshly chopped basil, along with some other ingredients that make these burgers what they are.
You will see in the ingredients I add in some panko bread crumbs to the mix. I like to incorporate just a pinch or bread crumbs to help add texture and help keep the mixture together. Try to use panko bread crumbs and not to substitute for regular bread crumbs. The panko bread crumbs are more coarse which well in these burgers.
