Weekly Wrap: Week 2

Is it Monday already?

Well, I had this post almost ready to hit publish before the weekend but time was not on my side.  Last week flew by!  I was busy preparing for the Mothertime Marketplace sale and going to see my boyfriend, I mean Michael Buble in concert on Tuesday.  We spent a beautiful fall weekend at the lake.  It was nice to unplug for a few days and enjoy some much needed R&R.  The colors are getting close to peak, I love it.  I hope to share some pictures of the gorgeous color here in Western New York on my next Weekly Wrap.  In the meantime, here are some of the latest happenings around MT last week.

Weekly Makeovers

Creamy Tomato Soup
Last weekend was cold and rainy, perfect for a warm bowl of this Creamy Tomato Soup. And what is tomato soup without grilled cheese?  I serve this with bacon grilled cheese, yum!  Have you ever baked bacon? It is my favorite way to cook bacon and is so easy.  Place bacon strips on a foil lined baking sheet and bake at 375 degrees for 18-20 minutes until nice and crispy.  You may never cook bacon another way again!

Mandarin Orange Chicken
I love this dish and I know many of you do too. If you have never tried this, give this a try!

What’s Hot!
Homemade Lasagna Noodles – I love to hear from all of you that have tried these noodles and love them, it means so much!  I am so glad that everyone loves this recipe.  It is getting a photo makeover soon along with a how to video!
Banana Bread Dip – This dip is still crazy popular!
Buffalo Chicken Ranch Pizza – I talked about this in last week’s Weekly Wrap and it has since been very popular again.  This is such a great pizza.  I hope you give it a try on your next pizza night! If you don’t want make the dough, you can skip that step and purchase pizza dough in your bakery and you can whip this pizza up in no time!

On the Menu

Come fall I’m always in the mood for soup. This Buffalo Chicken Wing Soup is inspired by a local restaurant that serves this soup.  It’s all your favorite flavors blended in a creamy soup.
I can’t wait to make these Whole Wheat Pumpkin Pancakes for the kiddos tomorrow morning. They are so good!
I have been craving this Spinach Salad with Roasted Grapes and Warm Balsamic Dressing.

I am excited to be participating in Bell Pepper Week kicking off Thursday with many other talented food bloggers.  We are kicking it off with a Twitter Party on October 3rd from 8-9pm EDT. There will also be great prizes throughout the week.  I look forward to sharing some of my favorite bell pepper recipes with you!

Still to come...

Favorite Pins
Cookie Dough Billionaire Bars
Pumpkin Apple Butter
Brownie Mix Cookies

I’ll leave you this week with my short video of Michael Buble serenading me.  Because he was just singing this to me, right?  Please ignore my awful singing and my obvious scream.  I was reliving circa 1989 and how I acted at a New Kids on the Block concert.

Have a great week!
