With just a few ingredients you can whip up these tasty Strawberry Crumb Bars in no time! Perfect if you need a last minute treat to whip up!

STRAWBERRY CRUMB BARS

What you need

  • A box of white cake mix – you can use yellow too.
  • Quick rolled oats – just 1/2 cup
  • Butter – 2 sticks total. Some for the bars, the a little for the yummy crumb topping!
  • Almond extract – optional but so worth it, trust me!
  • A can of strawberry pie filling – it’s all about easy peasy my friends!
  • A little flour
  • A little brown sugar
  • A pinch of cinnamon

That’s it! Pretty simple ingredients right?

The hardest part about this recipe is waiting for them to cool! They smell amazing and it’s so tempting to want to dive in and eat them. Trust me, it’s worth the wait! Once you bite into these tasty Strawberry Crumb Bars you are going to want to make another batch, or hide the ones you made so you have them all for yourself!

The almond extract is my little secret ingredient in this recipe. I like to use almond extract in my baking. Just a little goes a long way and takes a baked treat to another level. It’s not overpowering, it’s just a hint. It gives it that came from a bakery taste if you ask me.

Strawberry Crumb Bars

Ingredients

  • 1 box white cake mix (or yellow)
  • 1/2 cup quick rolled oats
  • 12 tablespoons butter (melted (1 1/2 sticks))
  • 1/4 teaspoon almond extract
  • 21 oz can strawberry pie filling

Crumb Topping

  • 4 tablespoons butter (melted)
  • 2/3 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/3 cup light brown sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Spray a 9×13 baking dish with cooking spray and set aside.
  2. Add cake mix, butter, oats and almond extract to a large bowl.
  3. Mix together with an electric mixer until combined. Batter will be like cookie dough.
  4. Transfer dough to prepared baking dish. Spray hands with cooking spray and press dough evenly into the bottom.
  5. Spread strawberry filling evenly on top.

Crumb Topping

  1. In a medium bowl mix together melted butter, flour, brown sugar and cinnamon until crumbly. Sprinkle evenly on top of strawberry pie filling.
  2. Bake on center rack for 17-22 minutes until cake tester inserted into the center comes out clean and the top is golden brown.
  3. Allow to cool then cut into squares.

Notes

I love to use Wilton Bake Easy spray! It’s great for baking!
