I have to admit I am in love with this sauce.

I have been experimenting with pizza sauce for some time trying to create the ultimate pizza sauce and I finally made one that tastes incredible!

To me a classic pizza sauce needs to be smooth and slightly sweet with a hint of herbs. This is one of those sauces that you just want to keep taking another taste of. Total yumminess in a bowl!  And dare I say this sauce kind of reminds me of Pizza Hut? Don’t hold me to it but the flavor reminds me somewhat of their sauce, just to give you an idea.

This sauce is so simple to make with most ingredients already on hand. With a can of basic tomato sauce, a dash of tomato paste and a handful of spices you can whip this sauce up in no time and it is so much better than purchasing the sauce already in the jar. It is packed full of flavor and would be delicious in Pizza Dip,  perfect for the upcoming Super Bowl!

To avoid waste, I always have a tube of tomato paste on hand in my refrigerator.  Its perfect to have instead of buying a small can of tomato paste when needing a small amount.
