Skinny Mojitos
Refreshing Skinny Mojitos – all the flavor of a classic Mojito without the guilt.
I love Mojitos. They are one of my favorite cocktails especially in the summer. They are light, refreshing and so good on a hot summer day.
Classic Mojitos are usually made with mint leaves, lime juice, sugar, rum and club soda. Not all that bad but when you are looking to cut calories and sugar substituting Sprite Zero or your favorite diet lemon lime soda in place of sugar and club soda makes this cocktail tastes just like a classic Mojito without the guilt.
Rum has about 64 calories per ounce. This recipe using 2 ounces of rum, so for about 124 calories you can make a small pitcher of these yummy Mojitos that makes 4 servings. Not that bad when you are watching your calories. And if you are watching your sugars you re definitely going to love this.
For your next backyard BBQ or after a long day try a refreshing Skinny Mojito. You’ll never taste the difference from the original.
