Life is hectic isn’t it? When my twins started kindergarten I thought I would have all the time in the world to work on my recipes and still do my daily chores around the house. Boy was I wrong. Six hours a day without the kiddos while they are in school flies by! By the time I get them off to school before I know it it’s time to pick them up. Where does the day go?
It’s very important to me when the kids come home from school that I turn “work” off and have quality mommy time with the kids. When it comes to dinner I want to spend as little time as possible preparing dinner so I can be with my kids reading, helping with any homework or just getting in some much needed cuddle time. I like to create effortless dinners that take little or no time to prepare. One of my favorites is slow cooker meals. I can get dinner in the slow cooker in the morning and go about my day and the slow cooker does all the work. What’s even better is using Campbell’s Slow Cooker Sauces that use just a few ingredients. Before I know it dinner is cooking in the slow cooker and I’m a happy mommy. It’s one thing off my checklist for the day and I know my family will be treated to a delicious dinner and I’m not stressing out about what to make at six o’clock.

Pot roast alone is good stuff but pot roast on grilled cheese is almost life changing. My meat and potato hubby not only loved this Campbell’s Tavern Style Pot Roast but he loved even more how simple it was. Campbell’s Sauces are easy to use whether for an Every Day meal or Game Day get-together which I love for my busy family and you will too. Whether you are in the mood for Apple Bourbon Pulled Pork, Sweet Korean BBQ, Beef Stew, Southern BBQ or Hawaiian BBQ there is a Campbell’s Sauce for everyone. I have tried them all and the Apple Bourbon Pulled Pork is great topped with with crunchy coleslaw and the Sweet Korean BBQ is amazing over rice. The best part is they were so easy and my family loved them.

The prep time (and now title that is being pinned) needs to be changed – it is not 13 minutes – that is the end result for the sandwich – how about 8 hours to cook the meat first? the recipe does look good, but it needs to be accurate on what it takes to accomplish it.

My children LOVE this! I made this tonight (for the second time) and one of my teenage boys ate four sandwiches and the other ate three. It’s also exceptionally easy…the slow cooker does all the work. I would recommend this to anyone!

Hi Jenn,
This sandwich looks great! Can’t wait for my family to try it! I’m also from WNY–Cheektowaga to be exact!
Will follow you on Pinterest!
I sear my pot roast first and then I cook it for 4 hours on slow and a Crock-Pot. And then an hour on high in the Crock-Pot. I use garlic bread rather than white bread and cheddar cheese so so good

I recently had a roast beef and hamburger sandwich which was delicious. I spoke with the cook and was told they let the sliced roast beef rest in the juices til served. It was GREAT. This one looks super also. Good luck coming on a top notch sandwich.
This was awesome, will definitely make this again. I used a light artisan rye bread. Put the cheese on both sides of the bread with the meat in the middle. This would be great as a hot beef type of plate with the au jus!
