EASY BLACK FOREST CAKE

I’m all about quick and easy the desserts that tastes like a million bucks!

This easy Black Black Forest is one of the easiest desserts you’ll make but tastes amazing!

There is so much goodness in this easy Black Forest Cake. Maybe you’ll love the the sweet cherry pie filling swirled into the chocolate cake or the fresh cherries garnished on top. My favorite is the sweet whipped cream with just a hint of almond extract. It’s so good you’ll want to eat it with a spoon!

If you love the combination of chocolate and cherries (and who doesn’t?) then you are going to love this dessert!

I made this for a party and it was a huge hit! Even my brother who was visiting from out of town who isn’t that big on sweets loved this dessert! Kudos to his big sis!

When I make desserts like this and people ask me for the recipe I love to see their reaction when I tell them how easy it is, especially when it tastes as good is this.

HOW TO DRESS UP THIS EASY BLACK FOREST CAKE

I love to garnish this with fresh summer cherries, perfect for this time of year and some slivered almonds. Obviously this dessert is great year-round so if cherries aren’t in season here are a few ideas to dress up this easy Black Forest Cake.

  • Garnish with slivered almonds
  • Sprinkle with some chocolate shavings
  • Drizzle with a little chocolate syrup
  • Add all 3!

I don’t recommend adding cherry pie filling on top so it doesn’t ruin the pretty whipped cream.
