If you love jalapeño popper recipes, here’s another one to add to your list! These Jalapeño Popper Pinwheels are delish! Every time I make them I can’t stop nibbling on them! That’s one thing I love about pinwheels. They are super easy to whip up, so I can make some and then just pop them in the refrigerator to nibble on when the craving hits! They’re great for snacking on and great portion control too!

Not only are these tasty Jalapeño Popper Pinwheels great for snacking, but they are a lunchtime favorite too! Make some at the beginning of the week and you can have them to pop in lunches for the week. Add a few of these, along with baby carrots, a little hummus or ranch, grapes, and some almonds and you have one tasty lunch!

Grab your favorite lunch container (I use these from Amazon) and make some lunches to grab and go for the week ahead!

  • Add 4-5 Jalapeño Popper Pinwheels
  • A handful of grapes
  • Baby carrots
  • Hummus or ranch for dipping (optional)
  • A handful of almonds (add a few chocolate chips for a sweet and salty snack!)

These tasty pinwheels are also great for an appetizer! I always seem to whip up pinwheels for a party! I love them because I can make them ahead of time and then when my guests arrive I just pull them out of the refrigerator. Easy peasy my friends!

Jalapeño Popper Pinwheels

An easy recipe for Jalapeño Popper Pinwheels filled with cheese, diced jalapeños, and crumbled bacon. Perfect for a snack, lunch or appetizer!

  • Yield: 0 pinwheels

Ingredients

  • 2 packages (8 oz each) cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/3 cup jarred jalapeño slices, diced
  • 1/4 cup crumbled bacon
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • pinch of salt and pepper
  • 45 8-inch flour tortillas

Instructions

  1. Add all ingredients except tortillas to a large bowl.
  2. Using an electric mixer beat on low until creamy. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Divide mixture between tortillas and spread evenly.
  4. Tightly roll tortillas and wrap in plastic wrap. Place in the refrigerator for a few hours or overnight.
  5. When ready to serve, cut off ends and cut into slices.

Notes

You can cook 2-3 slices of bacon and crumble it or use bacon bits. 

Freezer tip: Place slices on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and place in freezer until frozen. Transfer to a freezer safe container or freezer bag. To thaw, place desired amount of pinwheels on counter for about 30 minutes before serving.

  2. I just made these jalapeño pinwheels. I was just curious if you could toast them in the oven? Or would the cheese just melt and run out?
