Easy Ranch Pasta Salad



  • 1 lb cavatappi pasta (or similar like rotini, bowties or penne)
  • 1/2 lb broccoli florets
  • 10 oz cherry tomatoes (halved)
  • 1 cucumber (peeled and chopped)
  • 2.5 oz crumbled bacon (or about 45 cooked bacon strips, crumbled)
  • 1/2 C grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 C diced red onion (optional)
  • 1 1/22 C ranch dressing (like Hidden Valley ranch)
  • salt and pepper to taste


  1. Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain, rinse and allow to cool completely. 
  2. Add pasta to a large serving bowl and add in broccoli, tomatoes, chopped cucumber, bacon, Parmesan and red onion. 
  3. Add in 1 1/2 cups ranch dressing and toss. If desired add more ranch dressing or if not serving right away toss in a little more ranch dressing right before serving.
  4. Season well with salt and pepper.
  5. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
