DIY Christmas Arrows – Free Printables

This quick and easy Christmas DIY uses cute little arrows that you can find at Dollar Tree and these free printables!

I found these darling arrows in the wedding section at Dollar Tree and I love using them in my decor!

This past fall I painted them and shared this idea on my Instagram page. I used Dollar Tree letters on top pointing to apples, hayrides and pumpkins.

I knew I wanted to do something similar for Christmas but wanted to make it even easier so I created these adorable printables that you can simply download, print, and cut to fit. I attach mine with a handy dandy glue stick. It’s easy, doesn’t create a lot of bubbles and wrinkles and I can remove it if I want to reuse the letters again! Can’t beat that.

What you need

Dollar Tree arrows – you can find them in the wedding section at Dollar Tree
Legal size paper – I get mine at Walmart
Glue stick – I get mine at Dollar Tree
Scissors
Download printables
Mod podge and glitter – optional to add a little bling to these
Any additional embellishments you want to add

Download these printables below. Print them using legal size paper. Make sure you print settings are set correctly.

Once you print the images you want, using a ruler trace a line on the back of the paper to outline the bottom of the image.

Place the arrow on top lining the bottom line you traced with the bottom of the arrow.

Trace around the rest of the arrow. Using good scissors cut the image out then glue it on top of the arrow.

You can Mod Podge to front to seal it. It may wrinkle slightly so use a light coat. For some extra fun, add a little clear glitter! You can even add bows, stickers, pom poms, whatever you like!

IMPORTANT! If you add Mod Podge do a test first to make sure your ink doesn’t bleed. It depends on the ink you use and printer. If it bleeds, just avoid brushing the letters and add glitter around it. I have a laserjet and my ink didn’t bleed. You should be ok but it’s better to be safe than sorry.
