DIY Buffalo Check Pillar Candle
If you love buffalo check, you’re going to love this quick and easy buffalo check pillar candle using Dollar Tree white pillar candles, and some buffalo check wrapping paper!
How cute are these buffalo check pillar candles? I love these! They look great in a grouping. I love to group things in odd numbers, like 3 or 5. These look great individually too. Set one in a bathroom, on a console table, or my favorite idea, to give as a gift.
What you need
- White glass pillar candles from Dollar Tree
- Buffalo check wrapping paper – I used All Wrapped Up wrapping paper
- Glue Stick
- Black velvet ribbon to tie around – I used ribbon from Joann Fabrics
- Hot glue and glue gun
- Tags are mini ornaments from Walmart
I cut the wrapping paper 5×7 1/4 then wrapped it around the pillar candle and used a glue stick to attach. I like using a glue stick so it can be easily removed.
I then wrapped it with a piece of black velvet ribbon and attached it with hot glue. Just like this it’s so simple and pretty. Great for anyone who loves buffalo check!
To embellish this a tad more I added these cute mini ornament tags I found at Walmart and attached it to the center with hot glue as well. Easy peasy.
You could use anything to embellish these. A little greenery would look lovely too!
