Not only is this festive holiday cheesy bread a holiday favorite, but it’s so easy too! With just a few ingredients, you can whip this up in no time!

CHEESY GARLIC CHRISTMAS TREE BREAD

WHAT YOU NEED

  • Mozzarella cheese sticks
  • A tube of Pillsbury pizza crust
  • Melted butter
  • Garlic Powder
  • Dried Parsley
  • Marinara for dipping

That’s it!

Pop open the tube of pizza dough and place it on a floured surface. Using a sharp knife or pizza cutter, cut out 28 squares of dough.

Next cut the cheese sticks into 1/2-inch pieces.

Next wrap the pizza dough around the cheese and place seam side down on a parchment lined baking sheet. I like to spray my baking sheet with cooking spray so the parchment paper sticks.

Start at the bottom of the tree with a row of six, followed by a row of 5, then a row of 4, and so on until you get to the top. Keep them snug together so they bake together.

Once its done, bake them in a 400 degree oven for 12-18 minutes.

While the bread is baking, mix together melted butter with garlic powder and parsley flakes. Brush on this yummy buttery garlic mix on top of the bread when it’s done and garish with lots of shredded parmesan cheese on top.

Serve immediately with a side of marinara. I love to serve this Wegmans Tomato Oil.

Cheesy Garlic Christmas Tree Bread

Ingredients

1 tube Pillsbury pizza crust
4-5 mozzarella cheese sticks
3 tablespoons butter, melted
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon parsley flakes
Marinara sauce for dipping

Instructions

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

Spray a baking sheet with cooking spray and line it with parchment paper.

Roll out pizza dough and cut into 28 squares

Cut mozzarella cheese sticks into 1/2-inch pieces

Wrap dough around mozzarella and place seam side down on baking sheet. 

Start at the bottom of the tree with a row of six, followed by a row of 5, then a row of 4, and so on until you get to the top. Keep them snug together so they bake together.

Once it’s done, bake on center rack for 12-18 minutes. 

While the bread is baking, mix together melted butter with garlic powder and parsley flakes.

Once bread is done, brush buttery garlic mix and garish with lots of shredded parmesan cheese on top.

Serve immediately with a side of marinara for dipping.

  1. I accidentally bought a sheet of just the pillsbury dough not pizza. Would it turn out or should I go buy pizza dough?
