5-Ingredient Rice Krispie Nests

These simple and easy 5-Ingredient Rice Krispie Nests are perfect for any Spring or Easter gathering.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 6 cups Rice Krispies
  • 5 tablespoons butter
  • 10 oz. bag mini marshmallows
  • Cadbury Mini Eggs
  • Edible grass, optional

 

Instructions

  • Spray a 12 cup standard muffin tin with cooking spray and set aside.
  • Melt butter in a large saucepan over medium heat.
  • Add mini marshmallows and stir occasionally until melted.
  • Turn off heat and stir in Rice Krispies.
  • Scoop mixture into prepared muffin tin and use the back of a spoon to press into sides.
  • Once done, set aside until cooled completely.
  • Remove “nests” from muffin tin and fill with Cadbury Mini Eggs and edible grass.

Notes

Additional tools

  • 12 cup standard muffin tin
  • Cooking spray

If you have any additional mixture left over you can make a few more “nests” or press the extra mixture into a small dish to make a Rice Krispie treat.
