These adorable No-Sew Stars are great for Christmas or to use with Americana decor! I love it on a tiered tray, use as bowl filler, tucked on a shelf, or give as a gift!
It’s time for another no-sew pattern, this time stars! I love these for Christmas and to use in Americana decor!
I sure hope you love making these no-sew bowl fillers as much as I do, there are certainly quite a few options here on Mother Thyme.

I like to keep my Americana decor pretty neutral so for these I used muslin and a blue and white striped fabric. The muslin stars are perfect for Americana or Christmas. I love the blue and white striped for Americana!
Here’s what you need
- Fabric – the fabric I used is from Hobby Lobby
- Polyfil – or filling from an old pillow
- Pattern – download for free below
- Hot glue and glue gun
- Accents – I used stamped torn muslin and a pin.
Download the pattern I designed below. Print it at ACTUAL SIZE so it’s the size of mine. If you don’t adjust your print settings, your printer may shrink the pattern slightly.
Next cut the pattern out.
Trace the pattern out on the fabric. I place 2 piece of fabric and pin them together and then cut them out both at once. I like to use a Frixon pen for marking my fabric. It disappears with heat. You can also pin the pattern directly on fabric and cut around it.
Next add a ribbon of hot glue around the fabric, leaving an opening on the bottom to add filling.
Remove pins, and add filling so it’s nice and stuffed, then seal the opening with hot glue.
