Easy Baked Ravioli (No Boil)

EASY BAKED RAVIOLI - NO BOIL

Ravioli are easy, but baked ravioli is even easier, especially when you don’t even need to boil it! This easy baked ravioli will become a go-to recipe perfect for a busy weeknight. You can even prep it ahead of time so you can just pop it in the oven when you’re ready to make dinner!

This dinner comes together quickly with just a few ingredients. Most of these items I always have on hand so I can whip this up when it’s a “what’s for dinner” kind of night.

This recipe calls for frozen ravioli, but you can use fresh ravioli like Rana too. We love the Rana raviolis. When using fresh ravioli or if you prep this ahead like I often do you just bake it for less time.

I also like making baked ravioli instead of boiled ravioli as it’s less dishes to wash. When I boil ravioli I have the pot for the ravioli, the colander, plus the pot for the sauce. Making baked ravioli is a 1 pan meal and easy clean up!

If you you make it with frozen ravioli and bake it right away the baking time covered is 20-25 minutes.

If you prep this ahead of time with frozen ravioli or use fresh ravioli the baking time covered is only 15-20 minutes.

What you need

  • 25 ounce bag of frozen ravioli (or fresh) You can use any flavor you’d like. Cheese and sausage are a few of my favorites.
  • 24 oz. jar of pasta sauce – I love Prego Traditional sauce. That is my go-to store bought sauce
  • 8 oz. (2 cups) shredded Italian cheese
  • Garlic powder
  • Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper
  • Freshly chopped basil
  • Grated Parmesan

That’s it!

As I mentioned above my family loves Prego pasta sauce. The traditional sauce is so go. I feel like I’ve searched for years looking for a go-to store bought sauce. Now I hardly use anything else. It’s so good!
