I used small frames for this project, but the idea is very adaptable and can be recreated with what you already have on hand.

What You’ll Need
• A frame (I used 5×7 frames)
• Fabric of your choice
• Frame backing
• Spray adhesive
• Bird printable (details below)
• Printer

How I Made It
I started by cutting a piece of fabric slightly larger than the frame backing. Using spray adhesive, I attached the fabric directly to the backing, smoothing it gently but not worrying about perfection. A little texture and softness adds to the charm.
Next, I assembled the frame without the glass. This gives the piece a warmer, more relaxed feel and allows the fabric and paper to show their texture.
For the bird printable, I tore the edges by hand instead of cutting them. That imperfect edge gives it a subtle, aged look that pairs so nicely with the fabric underneath. Once I was happy with the placement, I used a bit more spray adhesive to secure the printable on top of the fabric.
I used a frame from Dollar Tree and decided to give it a cozy, cottage-style look. I lightly distressed it by dry brushing FolkArt chalk paint in Cottage White, just enough so the wood grain still shows through.
That’s it! Simple, sweet, and finished in just a few minutes.
The best part is you can easily remove the print and change it out whenever you’d like – perfect for seasonal decorating!
