Monkey Bread


  • 1 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 4 (7.5 ounce each) tubes refrigerated buttermilk biscuits
  • 1 stick butter, melted and cooled
  • 1 cup light brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Generously spray a 10-cup bundt pan with cooking spray. Sprinkle bottom and sides of bundt pan with chopped walnuts and set aside.
  3. Mix white sugar and cinnamon in large resealable bag.
  4. Open tubes of biscuit dough and cut the biscuits in half.
  5. Place biscuits in bag with sugar and cinnamon and toss to coat.
  6. Place biscuits in bundt pan, sprinkling with remaining sugar and cinnamon on top.
  7. In a medium bowl mix butter, light brown sugar, maple syrup and vanilla. Pour on top of biscuits.
  8. Bake in preheated oven for about 30 minutes. Cool for about 5-10 minutes before turning over onto serving plate.
