Maple Chipotle Glazed Brussels Sprouts

  • 1 1/2 pounds Brussels sprouts, ends trimmed and cut in half
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 2 tablespoons pure maple syrup
  • 1/4 teaspoon brown sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground chipotle chili pepper
  • 1/8 teaspoon liquid smoke


  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  2. Toss Brussels sprouts with olive oil and an pinch of salt and arrange cut side down on a large baking sheet.
  3. Roast for about 15 minutes.
  4. Meanwhile, melt butter in a large bowl.
  5. Stir in maple syrup, brown sugar, ground chipotle chili pepper and liquid smoke.
  6. Add in roasted Brussels sprouts and toss to coat.
  7. Season with salt to taste.
  8. Serve immediately.
