Skip the apple pie and try these warm Apple Dumplings that are super simple to make and are good!

Ingredients
1 box (15 ounce refrigerated pie crust)
4 SnapDragon apples (peeled and cored)
1 tablespoon sugar
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1 tablespoon butter (cut into 4 cubes)
1 cup packed light brown sugar
1/2 cup water
Instructions
Allow pie crust to sit at room temperature for about 15-20 minutes.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Lightly grease a 11×7 baking dish with cooking spray and set aside.
In a small bowl mix sugar and cinnamon.
Unroll pie crusts in half.
Place each apple on top of dough. Place a piece of butter in the core of each apple. Divide cinnamon sugar mixture and generously sprinkle the inside of each apple with cinnamon sugar mixture and a dusting on the outside.
Fold dough around apples pinching the seams to seal the dough close.
Place in prepared baking dish.
Bring brown sugar and water to a low boil in a small saucepan over medium-high heat. Cook, stirring frequently for about 3 minutes. Remove from heat and pour over apples in baking dish.
Bake for about 50 minutes basting occasionally until golden brown.
