Homemade Pimento Cheese

Ingredients

  • 4 ounces cream cheese (softened)
  • 8 ounces finely shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 45 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1/3 cup diced pimentos
  • 1 pinch garlic powder
  • dash Frank’s hot sauce (optional)
  • dash Worcestershire sauce (optional)
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Using an electric mixer or by hand mix cream cheese until softened.
  2. Stir in mayo until combined.
  3. Add remaining ingredients and mix well.
  4. Cover and refrigerate for least one hour.

Notes

For best results use freshly shredded cheddar cheese.

I recommend using Frank’s Hot Sauce OR Worcestershire not both. Either one or the other. My personal preference is just the Frank’s Hot Sauce and omit the Worcestershire. I also use a few dashes (about 1 tablespoon). Check out my live Facebook post where I make this for more details!
