Cinnamon Roll French Toast Roll Ups


  • 8 slices white sandwich bread
  • 1/2 cup half and half or milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract


  • 4 tablespoons light brown sugar
  • 3 tablespoons butter (melted)
  • 3 teaspoons cinnamon

Cream Cheese Dip

  • 4 ounces cream cheese
  • 4 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • 34 teaspoons milk
  • 2 tablespoons butter (divided)
  • 12 tablespoons cinnamon sugar for serving (optional)


  1. Cut crust off of bread.
  2. Flatten slices with a rolling pin and set aside.
  3. In a shallow bowl whisk half and half or milk, eggs and vanilla until blended and set aside.


  1. In a small bowl mix brown sugar, butter and cinnamon together until combined and set aside.

Cream Cheese Dip

  1. In a small bowl mix cream cheese and confectioners sugar together until blended. Slowly add milk 1 teaspoon at a time until creamy.


  1. Melt 1 tablespoon of butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Spread a layer of cinnamon filling on bread. Tightly roll up lengthwise. Repeat until all slices of bread are gone.
  3. Once skillet is hot and butter is melted dip rolled up bread in egg mixture and allow any excess mixture to drip off before adding to the skillet. Working in batches continue dipping and adding bread to skillet.
  4. Cook about 2-3 minutes per side until all sides are browned.
  5. Remove from skillet and set aside on serving plate.
  6. Continue process adding more butter to skillet halfway through if needed until all the roll ups are cooked.
  7. Sprinkle with a little cinnamon sugar if desired.
  8. Serve warm with a side of cream cheese dip for dipping.
