1 pkg Barilla Ready Pasta (or your own already cooked pasta, like penne or rotini)
2 cups cooked chicken (sliced or chopped)
2 cups strawberries (sliced)
10 oz bag chopped romaine
1/2 cup whole pecans
2–3 tablespoons sliced red onion
2 tablespoons freshly chopped basil
2 tablespoons freshly chopped mint
1/3 cup poppy seed dressing (recommend Brianna's *more dressing depending on taste)
1 avocado (chopped – optional)
crumbled feta cheese (optional)
salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
Toss all the ingredients except dressing together in a large bowl.
When ready to serve toss with dressing. Start with a little dressing and add more depending on taste. You don't want to soak it in dressing but give the entire salad a nice light coating. Add a pinch of salt and pepper.
Notes
Mason jars – using a quart size jar
Add 2-3 tablespoons dressing on the bottom. Top with the following in order – strawberries, pasta, chicken, lettuce, pecans.
You could also use meal prep containers and pour the dressing in little cups with lids.
