An easy recipe for chewy and delicious brownie mix in a jar! Perfect to store in your pantry or to make for gift giving!

Ingredients
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup flour
1/3 cup unsweetened baking cocoa
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
Add sugar, flour, cocoa, baking powder and salt to a pint size mason jar and mix together until combined.
Top with 1/2 cup of chocolate chunks.
Seal with lid.
Alternatively you can mix sugar, flour, cocoa, baking powder and salt in a bowl then add mixture to jar and top with chocolate chunks.
For layered jar – add sugar, flour, baking powder and salt to a jar and mix. Gently tamp the layer down. Next add cocoa on top and use a tamper to tamp cocoa down. Top with chocolate chunks.
Add lid and tag with baking instructions.
Notes
To bake you will need –
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, melted and cooled
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
To make –
Preheat oven to 350
Spray an 8 inch baking pan with non-stick spray.
Add brownie mixture to a bowl then stir in melted butter, eggs and vanilla. Stir until just combined.
Pour batter into prepared baking pan and bake for about 20 minutes.
