Easy Graham Cracker Toffee

GRAHAM CRACKER TOFFEE + FREE TAGS!

An easy delicious treat that everyone will love!

Ingredients

  • Honey graham crackers*
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 cup (2 sticks) butter
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Line a jelly roll pan** with parchment paper.
  • Add a single layer of graham cracker squares on baking sheet then sprinkle chopped pecans on top of graham crackers.
  • In a saucepan add butter and sugar and bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring frequently.
  • Once mixture is to a boil, continue to stir until mixture is smooth for 2 minutes.
  • Remove from heat and stir in vanilla.
  • Pour mixture on top of pecans and spread evenly to coat.
  • Transfer pan to preheated oven and bake for your 8-10 minutes until topping is bubbly and crackers are golden brown.
  • Remove from oven and allow to cool for a few minutes then carefully transfer to a cooling rack to cool completely.
  • Once cool, cut into pieces and store in an airtight container.

Notes

* I like to use the Honey Maid Fresh Stack packages. I use 24 graham cracker squares on a jelly roll pan. If using a half baking sheet you will need more squares. If using graham cracker sheets, break them in half to make squares.

** This recipe is made using a jelly roll pan which is slightly smaller than a half sheet. You can use a half sheet as well, you will just need more graham cracker squares to cover the pan.
