I just love the song My Favorite Things. Every morning while I am cooking breakfast for the twins I turn on my Tony Bennett Snowfall CD and the first song is My Favorite Things. I just love how the twins light up when they hear this song.
I break out in my want to be Mariah voice (hardly) and sing along. Not only does this remind me of the classic movie Sound of Music (how can you forget Julie Andrews singing this song) but it really reminds me of my favorite things.
The simple things in life are truly what matter most.
And no matter what each day brings sometimes we need to simply remember our favorite things and then we won’t feel so bad.
