Banana Cinnamon Smoothie


I recently had a chance to get to the mall without the twins to do a little shopping for myself.  While I was there I saw a Yogen Fruz and since I am such a smoothie fan I had to try one.  I had the Banana Boost smoothie, and it was fantastic.  I had drank it all by the time I got to Macy’s (the next store over).  It is such a simple smoothie, with skim milk, yogurt, banana and cinnamon but it was so delicious.  

The following day I was at another mall (this time with the twins in tow) and I was hoping that a Yogen Fruz was open so I could inhale another one of those smoothies.  The good news is they are opening one later this fall.  I was thrilled to hear that since that mall is closer to where I live and where I usually go if I venture out to the mall.  

I have thought about this smoothie the past few days, so instead of wondering what excuse I could come up with to venture up to the mall with a Yogen Fruz again, I decided to create it myself and I think this is a great comparison to my love for the Yogen Fruz Banana Boost smoothie.  

Simple and delicious.  The perfect anytime smoothie.  Enjoy!


Banana Cinnamon Smoothie

Ingredients
1 banana sliced (about 3/4 cup)
1/2 cup plain nonfat yogurt
1/2 cup skim milk
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 cup ice

Directions
Combine all ingredients in the blender and blend until smoothie.
