I L-O-V-E grilling season and if it was up to Mr. Mother Thyme we would grill out every night of the week. From the moment I fire up the grill I know dinner is going to be incredible. I can’t get enough of the smell of food sizzling on the grill and even the smell of food cooking on the grill around the neighborhood.
Between running the kids to dance and tee-ball practice and wanting to enjoy as much time outdoors as I can my schedule gets busy to fit in a lot of prep time in the kitchen. After the winter we had here in Buffalo I want to enjoy as much of the outdoors as I can. I like to include meals on my weekly dinner menu that take minimal effort to prepare. I also like to have these items on hand if I decide to tweak the menu or plans change. I always have a few go-to items on hand that I can quickly prepare dinner in a snap to avoid running out to dinner instead.
Campbell’s launched new Grill Sauces that can be found at most Wal-Mart stores and select retailers. They are available in three delicious flavors: Grilled Teriyaki Chicken, Cheddar Applewood Bacon Chicken and Lemon Pepper Chicken. You just simply season chicken with salt and pepper, grill it, then pour these incredible sauces over the chicken and serve.
How easy is that?
I always have chicken breasts in the freezer and having a few Campbell’s Grill Sauces on hand will make mealtime effortless – my kind of meal! I can enjoy spending time with my kiddos playing outdoors or heading to the park and know that when we are ready to eat we can dine al fresco on a beautiful night and enjoy a delicious dinner that is easy to prepare using Campbell’s Grill Sauces.
If you don’t an have outdoor grill, no problem! These work great using an indoor grill pan too!
During the summer we love to spend out weekends at our camp and we do A LOT of grilling. I can’t wait to take these yummy sauces with us on the weekends so I can enjoy quality family time and quickly whip up dinner anytime we want.
I have tried all three sauces and you can’t go wrong with any of them. My personal favorite is the Cheddar Applewood Bacon Chicken because of cheddar and bacon and, well, it’s just really good. Plus you can drizzle this sauce over side dishes you serve with the chicken like potatoes and broccoli. Cheddar Applewood Bacon sauce on top of potatoes and broccoli, oh yes!
It gets even better. I had this wild and crazy idea of tossing shredded grilled chicken with tortilla chips and pouring warm Campbell’s Cheddar Applewood Bacon sauce on top. Once I made this it was devoured in no time. It’s amazing!
