Must-Try Trader Joe’s Dinners for Busy Nights
Do you love Trader Joe’s? I do! We only have one in the Buffalo area. Every time I go it’s always busy! It’s about 30 minutes from where I live so I don’t get there regularly but when I do I have a ton of favorites I love to stock up on!
They need to build a Trader Joe’s in my next of the woods! I would love it! They always seem to put all the good stores in what we call around here the northtowns. And if Costco ever comes to Buffalo (yes, Buffalo doesn’t have a Costco. We have a football team, go Bills, but no Costco!) guess where Costco is supposed to be going? In the northtowns. So it’s always a little hike to get to these stores that I would love to shop at more often.
What are you favorite things from Trader Joe’s?
Here’s a list of a few of my favorite items I love at Trader Joe’s
- Chocolate lava cakes – one word for these…YUM! So easy! Just pop in the microwave and they are warm and ooey, gooey delicious! Add a scoop of ice cream for an easy dessert! Perfect when hosting a dinner too!
- Chicken Fried Rice – My kids love their fried rice and it’s so easy! Just add to a skillet with a little oil and in minutes you have delicious fried rice. Not only is it good but such a great price too!
- Trader Joe’s cookie butter – this should come with a warning label! It’s so good I eat it with a spoon. Definitely a treat I get every once in awhile.
- Mandarin Orange Chicken – A Trader Joe’s favorite! I get this a lot! It’s so easy to prepare, cook up a little rice (or try the TJ’s frozen Jasmine rice!) and dinner is served! Not only is this one delish too but such a great price!
- Trader Joe’s Chocolate Milk – creamy and delicious! My family loves it!
- Trader Joe’s seasoning blends – I always love to pick these up! The Aglio Olio blend is so good with olive oil for dipping with bread. I love to use it in a lot of meals too!
- Trader Joe’s Pimento Cheese – This is one of Wayne’s favorites!
- Trader Joe’s Frozen Bread Chicken Tenders – These are the BEST frozen chicken tenders. They are large and so flavorful! I love keeping these on hands to use in a variety of meals!

Whenever I go to Trader Joe’s I like to plan on some easy dinners that I can easily make throughout the week! Trader Joe’s not only makes dinners easy, but affordable and tasty too!
