Day 4- 25 Days of Christmas Inspiration

I love being a mom.  I have two amazing kids that are my world.  I am so fortunate that I am able to stay home and raise them.  I have found even being home it is sometimes hard to balance not only watching them but getting all the daily housework completed.

The twins are so good about going to be at eight o’clock every night.  Once the babies are sleeping I am off to get the rest of my chores done before retreating to the couch to catch up on one of my favorite shows.

Time seems to go by so quickly now.  We wake up every morning between seven and eight.  When I get up and get in my first cup of coffee I always think I have all day to get so many things accomplished.  Before I know it, half the day is gone and their is laundry still in the washer,  and my daily to do list is not getting done.  No matter what, the most important thing is that I have two happy and adorable kids that blur all the other things that need to be done, because after all that is the most important.    They are only going to be young like this once and before I know it they are going to be grown up.  I want to cherish these days, so in the meantime I won’t stress out if I have sticky floors or a dirty oven because I have two happy munchkins bringing so much joy to my life!

This saying I found on Pinterest says it all and is my inspiration for today!

  1. Well said … SOOOOO true! Always remember this, as sometimes I look back and feel like I forgot these words of wisdom at times. 🙁 The years go by sooo quickly … you will always have quiet time later to dust and clean, but you can’t get back the years when the kiddies are little!!! Enjoy and cherish every moment! (as I know you DO). So thanks for sending out this wonderful reminder to all your followers!
