Winner winner pasta dinner!

How would you like if I told you that you could have a rich and hearty Italian sausage bolognese loaded with chucks of Italian sausage and tossed with pasta, shrimp and arugula ready in about 30 minutes? This bolognese sauce is so good it’s hard not to eat it by itself. And guess what? This bolognese only requires just two ingredients and is bursting with flavor.

Want to know what the two ingredients are that create this incredible sauce?

Ragu Chunky Tomato, Garlic and Onion and mild Italian sausage.

That’s it my friends. Just two simple ingredients create one amazing sauce that you just have to try. This effortless meal tastes like you spent all day in the kitchen making sauce but thanks to Ragu you can have this delicious dinner ready in no time.

A great sauce starts with great ingredients. Ragu is an authentic Italian sauce with richer taste and aroma and richer texture than other sauces because it’s made the traditional way and with the same standards set by Assunta in 1937.

Just the Italian sausage bolognese tossed with your favorite pasta alone and topped with freshly grated Parmesan cheese is enough to call a perfect dinner but I like to jazz it up even more and toss in some shrimp and arugula. I love the combination of the shrimp with the arugula and sausage, they really compliment each other well. If you don’t have arugula you can easily swap it out for spinach.

My family loves this, especially Mr. Mother Thyme. His famous words after a good meal is “this is a keeper” and this really is. It’s a perfect Sunday supper with family and friends gathered around the table served with a big salad and fresh Italian bread. Mangia!
