Ingredients
- 1 loaf French bread (cut into cubes)
- 1 large apple (peeled and chopped)
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans or walnuts
- 6 large eggs
- 1 cup cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup maple syrup (plus additional for serving)
- 1/4 cup butter (melted)
- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- Pinch of nutmeg
Instructions
- Lightly spray Crock-Pot® Slow Cooker with cooking spray.
- Place cubed bread in Crock-Pot® Slow Cooker along with chopped apples and pecans or walnuts.
- In a large bowl whisk together eggs, heavy cream, maple syrup, butter, cinnamon and nutmeg until blended and pour over bread.
- Gently mix everything together combined.
- Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours until set.
- Serve drizzled with warm maple syrup and a dusting of powdered sugar.
