This easy caramel Chex mix is a holiday favorite! And while it’s great for the holidays, I love it for football parties too!
It’s one of those great bowl snack mix that no one can resist! It even makes a perfect giftie too!
Whether you make it as a snack to serve at a party or to give as a gift, it will definitely be a hit!
What you need
- 4 cups rice Chex mix (I use the Aldi brand)
- 3.7 ounce bag bugles
- 1 cup mini pretzel twists (I use the Aldi brand)
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter
- 3/4 cup packed light brown sugar
- 3 tablespoons light corn syrup
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
This yummy recipe is super easy to make! You will simply make caramel with the butter, brown sugar and corn syrup. Once it’s bubbly you will remove from heat, stir in the vanilla and baking soda then pour the yummy mixture over the Chex mix and give it a good toss so it is nice and coated. Pop it in the oven for 10-15 minutes then let cool. Once cool break it into pieces and store in an air tight container!
