DIY Vintage-Style Christmas Crocks – Free Printable Labels

If you love vintage-style marmalade crocks, then wait until you see these Christmas crocks! They are the perfect addition to display along with your marmalade crock collection, tuck in a Christmas vignette, or on a coffee or cocoa bar.
These free labels (for personal use only) can be printed on transparent vinyl paper which I use, transparent sticker paper, or feel free to print on regular paper to attach to any crock to add a festive touch to any crock you may to use.
I use Cricut transparent vinyl paper (which you can get HERE). Even though it’s “Cricut”, you don’t need a Cricut, you just need an inkjet printer. I use THIS printer which is affordable (under $40!) and works great for all my printing projects!
The transparent Cricut vinyl paper is just like a sticker and sticks better than sticker paper. Simply print, cut to size, peel the backing off then add to your project. Easy peasy!
The labels come in two different sizes to work with a variety of crock sizes you may have. The larger one is 4×5 and then there is 3×3 3/4. It is a png file so it will print transparent when using transparent paper which is the preferred method but there is also a PDF that you can print on white paper if you don’t want the transparent background.
This is a fun project to use on a crock or an old vessel you may have, find a crock thrifting, or use THIS one I used to make these. I love this one since it has a very similar glaze and look to an actual vintage marmalade crock.

Step by Step
These couldn’t be easier to make! Below is the step by step instructions if you want to make them just like me.
First, what you need. If you want to make them just like mine, you need to supplies I used.
- Container – This is the one I use. I like this one because it has a similar glaze and color to a vintage marmalade jar.
- Transparent vinyl paper – This is the transparent vinyl I use. It’s just like a sticker. Print using an inkjet printer, cut and peel.
- Printer – This is the print I use and it’s under $40!
- Scissors or paper cutter
- Labels – Add your name an email address above and they will be sent right to your inbox! They come in 2 sizes in 2 different formats, png and pdf. I print mine using the 4×5 png for the transparent background. I offered the pdf if you want to have fun and make a craft (for personal use only of course). Or you can print and Mod Podge onto a project.
That’s it! Just the container and label is all you need to make this, easy peasy!
Of course you can have fun and distress the crock too but honestly once I added the label I thought it looked great, especially when tucked in a Christmas vignette.
So are you ready to hear how to make it?
- STEP 1 – Print the png (transparent image) on the transparent vinyl paper. Check your printer settings on which way the paper faces. Click print to print the crock labels.

- STEP 2 – Trim the labels down with scissors or I use a paper cutter for crisp, straight lines. CLICK HERE for the one I use.

- STEP 3 – Peel the backing off the label.

- STEP 4 – Place on container.
- STEP 5 – Decorate in a cute Christmas vignette and enjoy!
So easy, right?
And you can have fun and embellish them, distress them, add ribbon or a bow, make for gifts, you name it!
I’m a simple gal and wanted to tuck them in with my vintage crocks for a festive touch!
