Orange Fluff

These easy Orange Fluff makes a yummy dessert or side dish! It’s so easy to whip up and is always a hit!
This is a variation of my “Pinky Winky” recipe that has been a family recipe for years. The only difference is using orange jello instead of raspberry.
You’ll need 1 3 oz. packet of jello. If you are using sugar free jello, start with 1 packet and add a little bit more if desired. One packet works fine, but I add a little sprinkle from a second packet just to make the orange flavor pop.
This is great for picnics and BBQ but I love it for the holidays too! Orange is just a classic flavor for Thanksgiving and Christmas and this light and fluffy Orange Fluff is a delicious treat after a holiday feast.

Ingredients
- 1 3oz packet of instant jello (or 1-2 packets of sugar-free jello)
- 16 oz small curd cottage cheese
- 20 ounce can crushed pineapple – DRAINED
- 11 oz can mandarin oranges – DRAINED
- 8 oz thawed cool whip
The recipe calls for a can of crushed pineapple, drained. Don’t waste the pineapple juice! Drain it and save in a jar to use in another recipe or freeze it! You never know when you’ll need it and you really get a lot of the juice when you drain it.

This is also a kid-friendly recipe! If you’re looking for a side dish you know the kiddos will eat, this would be it! How wouldn’t love this?
Don’t like cottage cheese? Guess what? Me neither! But I LOVE LOVE LOVE this! You can’t even tell it’s cottage cheese. Trust me. I can’t stand cottage cheese. I’ve tried and just can’t eat it alone, but I can totally eat it in this! It’s o good!

Ingredients
- 3 oz. orange jello (or 1–2 packets of sugar-free orange jello)
- 16 oz. small curd cottage cheese
- 20 oz. can crushed pineapple – drained
- 11 oz. can mandarin oranges – drained
- 8 oz. cool whip – thawed
Instructions
- In a large bowl mix together jello packet with cottage cheese until combined.
- Fold in drained pineapple and oranges then fold in cool whip.
- Chill for 2-3 hours before serving.
