Fall is FINALLY in the air. Where I live outside of Buffalo most of September and October felt more like summer than fall. Fall favorites like chili and stews just don’t taste the same in 75 degree weather, right? Now that there is a chill in the air nothing beats warming up to a bowl of chili or stew.

This Crock-Pot® Slow Cooker Autumn Meatball Stew is one big bowl of comfort food. It combines all the hearty stew favorites like potatoes and carrots and in place of stew meat this includes juicy homemade meatballs that is simmered all day and served over extra wide egg noodles. This meal is total comfort food perfect on a fall or winter day that the entire family will love!

  1. Hi Jenn, I have a bag of ready made meatballs in the freezer (I always keep some on hand because they are gluten free and my daughter has a gluten allergy) and am wondering if I could use that in place of making my own meatballs? This looks like a real family pleaser.
