Easy Candied Pecans
These easy Candied Pecans make a delicious holiday treat! Perfect for gifties too!

If you like making homemade treats for gift giving these easy Candied Pecans are a must try! I actually double the recipe because they’re so good! Serve warm right out of the oven and they are irresistible!

What you need
- 1 pound pecan halves
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 large egg white
- 1 tablespoon water
- 1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
That’s it!
Toss the sugar, cinnamon and salt together in a a bowl. In another bowl whisk together egg white, water and vanilla extract until frothy. Toss egg mixture with pecans in a large bowl until coated, then gradually toss in the sugar mixture until coated. Pour mixture on a parchment lined baking sheet and bake in a 250 degree oven for an hour. Once cool,store in an airtight container!
So easy and so good!

Easy Candied Pecans
Ingredients
- 1 pound pecan halves
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 large egg
- 1 tablespoon water
- 1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 250 degrees. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
- In a medium bowl mix together sugar, cinnamon and salt. Set aside.
- Separate egg yolk and egg white and add just the egg white to a large bowl along with water and vanilla. Whisk together until nice and frothy.
- Add in pecans with egg white mixture and toss to coat.
- Gradually toss in sugar mixture and stir to coat until all nicely coated with sugar mixture.
- Pour pecans evenly onto large baking sheet. Bake for 1 hour.
- Cool completely then store in an airtight container.
