Cozy Winter Decorating Ideas - Winter Coffee Bar + Kitchen Dining Area

Baby it’s cold outside here in Buffalo! And the wintry weather has inspired me to add some cozy winter touches in my home.

After Christmas I love to make my home feel warm and cozy, perfect for snuggling up on cold winter days.

I love to shop my home and my decor shelves to switch up my decor after the holidays.

I had so much fun styling my coffee bar shelves. If you’re new here the shelves above my coffee bar are actually just cabinet shelves. I took the cabinet doors off and I instantly had open shelving to style seasonally. So if you’ve been wanting some open shelving, see if you can remove the doors from some cabinets to have some open shelves too!

I kept the coffee bar simple with lots of white ceramics that I had in my dining room hutch. I have a lot of Rae Dunn pieces in my hutch that I just turn around so the words are not showing. I did the same for the Rae Dunn pieces I used on my shelves to a clean look.

I tucked in some greenery from Hobby Lobby. I love this greenery. It’s so wispy. I simply cut a few pieces from the full bush to tuck in on a few shelves. You can find it in the greenery section at Hobby Lobby.

I find these galvanized snowflake luminaries I got years ago at Walmart and also tucked them on a few shelves with a tea light. I love the subtle glow especially in the evenings.

I have this darling Warm Winter Wishes book stack that also fits perfectly on the shelves and the perfect winter touch for this winter coffee bar.

First up a removed all the ornaments on the pencil tree that was tucked in the corner and I decided to keep it up for winter. I love the cozy glow, especially with a snowy backdrop.

For the dining table I added this large black wicker tray. To the tray I filled the vase with some snowy winter stems. I actually had these on my flocked tree for Christmas. I got these last year at the end at Michaels when they were trying to get rid of the remaining Christmas stems. They had mystery packs of them for $10. I got so many stems that included these.

I also added a pair of Hobby Lobby candlesticks, flameless taper candles and some pinecones. I also added a small runner. I love the size of this runner. It’s from Pillow Panels. Click HERE for the runner. You can even use code MOTHERTHYME25 for 25% off your Pillow Panels order!

I love how wintry this centerpiece looks.

And finally I added some more decor that I haven’t used in a while to my cabinet along with a few more of those wintry stems.

This whole space is warm and cozy!
