No-Sew Pumpkin Pie Slice
How cute is this No-Sew Pumpkin Pie Slice? I love it on a tiered tray, use as bowl filler, tucked on a shelf, or give as a gift!
Looking for a fun and easy fall craft? Then you’re going to love this easy, no-sew pumpkin pie slice. Isn’t it cute! I love a bunch of them as bowl filler. These are super cute for a tiered tray too!
You can make these pumpkin pie slices with just a few supplies! No sewing required! Just fire up your hot glue gun.
Here’s what you need!
- Fabric – I used Homespun fabric in the color Leather from Hobby Lobby
- Polyfil – or filling from an old pillow
- Pattern – download for free below
- Yarn – I am using Yarn Bee chunky yarn. Yarn Bee Eternal Bliss yarn would nice too.
- Hot glue and glue gun.
- Scissors
- Pins
- Accents – I added a bow and stamped muslin tag
Download the pattern I designed below. Print it at ACTUAL SIZE so it’s the size of mine. If you don’t adjust your print settings, your printer may shrink the pattern slightly.
Next cut the pattern out.
Trace the pattern out on the fabric. I place 2 piece of fabric and pin them together and then cut them out both at once.
If you can see the trace markings on your fabric, just place that piece on the bottom and repin fabric.
Next add a ribbon of hot glue around the fabric, leaving an opening on the bottom to add filling.
Remove pins, and add filling so it’s nice and stuffed, then seal the opening with hot glue.
Next, cut a piece of yarn to fit the widest part of the triangle and then add another row just on top.
Cut another piece of yarn, swirl it around and hot glue it to the center to be the “whipped cream”.
You can leave it just like this, or add a bow and on one of mine I added a cute little muslin tag.
