SUPPLIES

  • Fabric – I used tartan from Hobby Lobby
  • Pattern – click HERE for free pattern or draw your own
  • Hot glue
  • Scissors
  • Fluffy yarn for cuff – I used Yarn Bee Eternal Bliss yarn in the color white from Hobby Lobby
  • Ribbon – I used 3/8 inch black ribbon from Hobby Lobby
  • Stuffing for inside of stocking

HOW TO MAKE

To make simply cut out the pattern or draw your own and trace it on fabric. I like to place both of my pieces of fabric together so I just have to cut once. Just pin the pieces of fabric together and cut it out.

To prevent fraying you can use Fray Check which you can purchase at the craft store if you’d like.

Next hot glue the pieces together adding a ribbon of hot glue around the edge of the inside, leaving the top open.

Once the glue is dry add a little stuffing for fullness.

Next cut a little piece or ribbon or twine and hot glue it in the inside of the stocking creating a loop for a hanger then seal the top closed.

I then used Yarn Bee yarn around the top edge for the top of the stocking. I went around the top twice for extra fullness.

Finally I made a little bow and hot glued it to the cuff.

And that’s it! So easy and you can whip up a bunch of these cuties super quick!

If you make these too I’d love to see! Snap a picture and tag me on Instagram at motherthyme!
