Strawberry Yogurt Pie
Last weekend I found a recipe on Pinterest for Key Lime Pie that used only lime sugar free jello, lime yogurt, cool whip and a reduced fat graham cracker crust. Â It sounded great, and I loved it was virtually fat free, meaning guilt free so I had to try it.
On Tuesday I had a bunch of my dear friends come to visit from out of town for lunch and then we had we went to see Cirque du Soleil here in Buffalo. Â The show was amazing! Â I had a luncheon poolside and served the Key Lime Pie for dessert. Â It was fabulous! Â I thought if you could do this with lime, you could do this with any kind of jello, yogurt combination so I gave it a shot using strawberry.
This couldn’t be any easier and the combinations using jello and yogurt our endless. Â You could use orange jello and orange creamsicle yogurt for a orange creamsicle pie, black cherry you name it. Â The consistency is rich and creamy and you wouldn’t know it was low fat. Â I’m already thinking of a combination like this for fall using pumpkin and apple. Â
I am thrilled with this recipe that I couldn’t wait to share it with you. Â If you are looking for a simple, creamy and guilt free dessert you definitely need to give this a try. Â

Can this be frozen?
We used to make 6 of these every Saturday for Sunday lunch at our restaurant. It was always a big hit. Did different flavor every Sunday. The men especially wouldn’t believe me when I told them it was fat free.
Could I use ‘full’ sugar jello the sugar gives a bad after taste
Sorry multi tasking. Do I have to use sugar free jello. Will the others make a difference in the final result
