Easy Ambrosia Salad

Five ingredients is all you need to whip up this easy Ambrosia Salad! Perfect for any picnic, BBQ, or potluck!

Who doesn’t love an ambrosia salad? It’s one side dish I always have seconds of. It’s a light and refreshing side dish that kids and adults love too!

There are many variations of ambrosia salad. Some add in maraschino cherries, sour cream, yogurt, chopped almonds or pecans, or even fruit cocktail. I like to keep it simple with just 5 ingredients. Easy peasy and oh so tasty!

So what are the 5 ingredients?

  • Crushed pineapple
  • Mandarin oranges
  • Sweetened coconut flakes
  • Mini marshmallows
  • Cool whip

That’s it! Don’t fuss with adding in all the extras. Trust me, you just need to make it with these 5 ingredients for a simple and tasty side dish anyone will love!

Easy Ambrosia Salad

Ingredients

  • 20 oz can crushed pineapple (drained)
  • 15 oz can mandarin oranges (drained)
  • 1 1/2 cups sweetened coconut flakes
  • 1 1/2 cups mini marshmallows
  • 8 oz cool whipped (thawed)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl mix first 4 ingredients in a large bowl until combined.
  2. Fold in cool whip.
  3. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
