I love the 6×6 printables to use in shadow box frames from Dollar Tree. Just cut to size and adhere to the backing using modge podge, a glue stick, or double sided tape. Easy peasy decorating without breaking the bank. Plus you can reuse the frames!
I used the USA banner with black background and added buffalo check on each side. There are many ways you can customize it to what you like. You can add the buffalo check in between each letter, you could put the stars at the end, you don’t have to use any of the buffalo check at all. You could also do two rows, one with USA and another row with the buffalo check and stars.
You just need to download, print and cut out the banner. I recommend card stock, but you can use just regular paper if you don’t have card stock. Card stock is just going to be more sturdy and hold up better, especially if you want to save it to use again next year.
I printed the Stars and Stripes printable and cut it to fit inside an existing picture that I had from Hobby Lobby. Once I cut it it I just used painters tape and taped the cut printable over the existing picture. Easy peasy and oh so festive!
I also used the cute vintage truck. I didn’t have another chunky wood frame, so I used a box from Dollar Tree. I painted it similar to the color of the wood on the Stars and Stripes picture. I cut the truck printable to size using a rotary cutter to have clean edges and actually used just glue dots to secure in place.
For the Let Freedom Ring printable I used a square shadow box from Dollar Tree. I usually find them in the frame section. I just take out the glass and use the backing for my print. Just print the 6×6 and cut to size and adhere to the backing with modge podge, a glue stick or double sided tape and then pop back into the frame.
It’s best to use card stock for the printables, but printer paper will work ok too if you are just printing to use as is.

Printing on card stock is recommended.
If cutting these to fit a frame, a piece of chunky wood, a shadow box, use a ruler and a rotary cutter for clean cuts.
The printables don’t have cut lines except on the banner. The reason I did that is you may want a different size to cut for another project that isn’t any of the standard sizes I included and if I had little cut lines you wouldn’t be able to have fun to create different things. Maybe you have a cute box you want to modge podge one of these printables too or a piece of old wood. The beauty of these printables is that you have different sizes so you can cut them to whatever you’d like.
If you want easy peasy decorating to just pop in a frame I recommend printing on cardstock, then using the glass, or the frame to trace around and cut the image to size if needed.
