DIY Easter Bunny Treat Bags
If you’re looking for a cute and easy packaging for your Easter treats, wait until you see this idea for these darling DIY Easter Bunny Treat Bags! These are so cute to fill with Easter goodies to hand out to friends or family or to use as favor bags.
Not only are these so cute, they’re so easy to make! Just grab a few supplies and you can whip these up in no time!
Here’s what you need
- Paper lunch bags – I use giant lunch bags from Walmart but you can use regular size paper bags too.
- Scissors
- Pencil
- Ribbon or twine
- Pom pom or cotton ball
- Hot glue or glue to attach tail
- A piece of scrapbook paper to make tag
- Hole punch
- Stamps – I use clickable stamps HERE.
- Ink pad
- Paper shred and goodies to fill
To make you these simply start by drawing half of a bunny ear starting at the corner and drawing a slight curve towards the center of the bag going just slightly above the center of the bag.
Next fold the bag in half then then follow the cut line to the center.
Open the bag and fill with paper shred and yummy Easter treats.
Wrap the ribbon or twine tightly around the bag to cinch it closed. I like to tie a knot so I can then make the tag to attach it, then make a simple shoelace bow. I also gently “fluff” the ears so it looks cute. I am using ribbon from Hobby Lobby but you can use whatever ribbon or twine you’d like.
To make the tag I made a long tag simply but cutting a piece of white card stock then stamping Hoppy Easter on it with my handy clickable stamps. You can write whatever you’d like. This would be super cute customizing it with the names on it too. I then added a hole with a hole punch and attached it to the ribbon.
Finally I took a cute little bunny tail. I got mine in the Easter section at Dollar Tree. You can use a cotton ball or pom pom. I hot glued mine on.
And that’s it! So cute and easy! And what a cute idea to make for your kids to take to school to hand out to their class too!
