I love to make Italian sausage and peppers. Sometimes I serve them on fresh hoagie rolls with ketchup, or sprinkle with cheese and pop them under the broiler until the cheese is hot and bubbly. Another favorite is cooked in a skillet with some balsamic vinegar and served on a bed of rice.
Pizza night is a weekly favorite at Casa de Dempsey. My kiddos could eat pizza all the time, but Friday nights or the weekends are reserved for pizza. Homemade pizza’s are our favorites. We have variety of family favorites such as my Buffalo Ranch Chicken Pizza and Meatball Sub Pizza. This Italian Sausage and Peppers Pizza is delish! Even my picky twins love it which is a win for team mom. This is not your average pizza, this is pure goodness all on one tasty pizza crust.
Homemade pizza dough is so easy to whip up. I often make a few at a time and pop them in the freezer to have on hand. Fleischmann’s Pizza Yeast makes it even easier to make homemade dough in a snap. All you need to do is mix, knead and roll! No need to wait until the dough rises. The result is an easy, homemade pizza dough. Just add on your favorite toppings and bake.
